Nunn reports back-to-back strong quarters for first year in Congress
Des Moines, IA – Today, Congressman Zach Nunn announced he raised over $729,000 for Q2 of 2023. Congressman Nunn has raised $1,474,600 to date this cycle and ended Q2 with over $1 million in cash on hand. Over 14,800 donors have invested in Congressman Nunn’s campaign.
Congressman Nunn beat former Congresswoman Cindy Axne by just over 2,000 votes, making Iowa’s Third District one of the top targets of the DCCC in 2024. Nunn isn’t taking anything for granted, having already completed his second 21-county tour since being elected in November of 2022.
“With back-to-back strong fundraising quarters for IA-03 and over $1 million in cash on hand going into the second half of 2023, Congressman Nunn is putting challengers on notice,” said Nunn Campaign Manager Kendyl Parker. “The DCCC can see these numbers and will allocate even more resources to IA-03, so we have to be ready. Congressman Nunn is putting in the work to bolster our campaign war chest for the attacks to come.”
Nunn is running for reelection in Iowa’s Third District. He currently serves on the House Financial Services and Agriculture Committees. Nunn looks forward to continuing to secure the resources needed to protect this seat during his reelection campaign.
