Des Moines, IA – Combat aviator and U.S. Representative Zach Nunn (IA-03) released the following statement after he committed to a debate with KCCI and challenged his opponent, Sarah Trone Garriott, to do the same.
“I’m looking forward to a robust discussion of the bipartisan results we’ve delivered for Iowa families,” said Rep. Zach Nunn. “Sarah Trone Garriott is running away from her own record in the Iowa Senate, where she’s consistently voted against commonsense policies to make life more affordable here in Iowa. This election is a choice between two records. Over the past four years, I’ve worked to put more dollars in Iowans’ pockets, delivered for our law enforcement in Iowa and at the border, and delivered the largest investment in health care close to home in American history. My opponent’s record is the opposite: higher taxes, less security, and more regulation getting in between Iowans and their doctors. I’m challenging Trone Garriott to join me for a debate in October.”
