“SHE’S FOR THAT?” cites Trone Garriott’s Iowa Senate votes on girls’ sports, school locker rooms, and gender procedures for minors
Des Moines, IA — Combat aviator and U.S. Representative Zach Nunn today released “She’s For That?” — the newest television ad of the 2026 general election and the second spot in a paid media program the campaign began in June with “The Work.” The new ad shows Iowans Sarah Trone Garriott’s radical voting record in the Iowa Senate.
“Sarah Trone Garriott is trying to run away from her radical record,” said Campaign Manager Brendan Duffy. “She voted to let boys into girls’ sports and girls’ locker rooms. She voted against protecting kids from sex change surgeries. She put her name on a bill to start sex ed in kindergarten. Sarah Trone Garriott is out of touch with Iowa’s priorities and values. She’s too radical for Iowa.”

- Girls’ sports (HF 2416). The bill required school athletic teams to be designated by sex at birth and limited girls’ and women’s events to female students. Trone Garriott voted no.
